How you drive growth
As an Area Sales Manager, you are responsible for generating new business and strengthening our market position. You will participate in design and pre-contract meetings, conduct site surveys, and work with technical specifications to offer optimal loading solutions. By maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers in the real estate, construction, and logistics sectors, you ensure long-term collaboration and expansion of the client base. Your success in selling quality service is rewarded with satisfied customers.
Your Key responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships with decision-makers and influencers in the construction sector for loading solutions such as industrial doors and dock levellers.
- Generate new business and expand the client portfolio by convincingly selling service and quality.
- Provide technical support to clients, work closely with suppliers, and participate in design and pre-contract meetings to deliver excellent service.
- Conduct site surveys to better understand client needs and add value to client relationships and projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Actively follow up on sales reports and quotations to ensure they meet specific customer needs.

What you bring:
- A determined and competitive attitude to create new opportunities and increase market share.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with strong networking capabilities, especially with stakeholders in the construction sector. Experience in long sales cycles and maintaining client relationships is essential.
- Experience in sales to the construction and logistics sectors, such as prefab structures, industrial doors, and dock levellers.
- A strong network in the real estate and construction sectors, particularly in the Midlands region.
- Experience in project management and handling large contracts is a plus.
What you can expect from us
- Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 gross per year.
- 35-hour workweek.
- 25 vacation days per year, including 3 days during the Christmas period, plus national holidays.
- Opportunity to purchase up to 5 extra vacation days per year and hybrid working after probation.
