After an in-depth evaluation of vendors, Amazon selected Loading Systems as a preferred vendor for dock equipment. This decision was taken to cover future demand.
Between 2018 and 2020 Amazon is planning to build 44 distribution centres throughout Europe. Countries, where these DC’s will be built, include; UK, France, Germany, Poland, Spain and Italy.

The total volume of loading bays to be furnished is in the 3000 range with a value in excess of € 50 million. At present Loading Systems engineers are installing doors and dock levellers Amazon’s new centre in Garbsen (Germany), which is a 148.000 m2 location with 106 Loading bays. Soon the next DC’s in Germany and elsewhere will be built.
